Issue/Introduction

  • https://support.broadcom.com is navigated into via a browser
  • Login option on this page is then used
  • It redirects to a page that asks for a Username

What is the expected behaviour of the Portal after this?

Resolution

At this point, there are two possibilities:

  1. If the username entered is marked as an account that has to authenticate via SSO, then redirection to the parent organization's Identity Provider website happens
  2. If the username entered is marked as an account that has to authenticate directly at the Support Portal, then a page appears that asks for password.
