Issue/Introduction

Warning messages are reported in Log Insight for the Aria Operations for Networks service account for API calls against NSX.

First a "success" response from /api/v1/logical-ports/<PortID>/status?source-realtime
Then a series of errors "No matching response from CCP" for each NSX node.

 

 

Environment

Cause

In Aria Operations for Network, config inventory and metrics are different processes, sometimes resulting in a metrics being requested for deleted entities for a limited amount of time until the cache is updated.

This is the expected behavior if the logical ports or other entities are not present in NSX. You can check those entities in Aria Operations for Networks to confirm that they are deleted in NSX.

 

Resolution

If you find that these error message are occurring for entities that are deleted in NSX that you checked, you can safely assume that Aria Operations for Networks is behaving correctly here and no action is needed on your part.
