ESXi Host Image Profile not Reflecting Latest Build Version After Update

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• The Image Profile of the ESXi host is not updated to the latest ESXi build version after updating/upgrading hosts through the Lifecycle Manager or command line (esxcli software profile {install|update} -p <image profile> -d <file path>

Environment

VMware vSphere 7.x.

VMware vSphere 8.x.

Cause

This is observed when the ESXI hosts are upgraded/patched through the Lifecycle Manager(LCM) or image profile update. 

Resolution

This is expected behavior and can be ignored as there won't be any impact.
