Issue/Introduction

After a fresh installation of Symantec Endpoint Detection and Response (SEDR) 4.11 on S550 hardware via a USB drive, you encounter an issue where the status_check command reports the following after installing the SEDR license:

Could not access Cynic API server [https://api.global.dmas.symantec.com].
Could not access Breach Detection server [https://api-gateway.symantec.com].

This occurs despite the initial installation and bootstrap processes completing without error.

Environment

SEDR 4.11 installed on the S550 hardware via a USB drive.

Resolution

To resolve this issue restart the SEDR appliance and then re-upload the SEDR license.

If the above workaround does not resolve the issue, please contact Broadcom Technical Support for assistance.
