Issue/Introduction

After upgrading/patching to a newer Aria Operations release, VM stuck on boot console with network issue.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

Incorrect setting on the VM vAPP Options. VMware Aria Operations depends on accurate vApp properties in order to boot and configure it's network.

Resolution

Follow the instructions on KB Restoring vApp properties in VMware Aria Operations 8.14 and Later to review and update the required fields in the VM's vAPP Options settings.
