Error: "Catalog Item not found" when attempting to delete a media ISO file

Issue/Introduction

• One of the media items cannot be deleted.
• The ISO appears in the catalog with a status of failed_creation.
• An error message similar to this is seen:

  Catalog Item not found: urn:uuid:########-####-####-####-############

• In the Cloud Director log file /opt/vmware/vcloud-director/vcloud-container-debug.log the below entry can be seen:
  
  com.vmware.cl.exception.LibraryItemNotFoundException: Catalog Item not found: urn:uuid:########-####-####-####-############

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1

Cause

This issue can occur if the original media file upload was not fully successful and left this remnant in the catalog.

Resolution

The workaround for this issue requires modification of the Cloud Director database.
