Issue/Introduction

Errors similar to those shared below may be encountered when trying to deploy a workload domain from SDDC Manager in a VCF on VxRail environment -

  • VxRail first run workflow is failed, errors : {validation_report=[Validation error.], vcenter.customer_supplied_vc_name=[Cannot access the customer-managed VMware vCenter Server VMware SSO.]}
  • VxRail first run workflow is failed, errors : {vcenter.customer_supplied_vc_name=[Cannot access the customer-managed VMware vCenter Server VMware SSO.], general_thorough_validation.thorough_group_validator.vsan_disk_group_validator.default.multi_disk_group_configuration_validator=[Execution of the step Multi Disk Group Configuration Validator times out.]}
  • VxRail first run workflow is failed, errors : {validation_report=[Validation error.], vcenter.customer_supplied_vc_name=[Cannot access the customer-managed VMware vCenter Server VMware SSO.]}

VCF 5.2.0

Cause

This issue can occur if all required network ports are not opened.
