NSX Edge syslog spammed with "affinity" related log entries

Issue/Introduction

• NSX Edge small or medium form factor deployed.
• Entries similar to the below will be observed every minute on the Edge in /var/log/syslog :

  systemd 1 - -  Starting Edge Datapath KNI thread affinity service...
  ip - - -  INFO too fewer cpu cores: 4, stop configuring cpu affinity
  systemd 1 - -  Finished Edge Datapath KNI thread affinity service.
  systemd 1 - -  Starting Edge Datapath KNI thread affinity service...
  ip - - -  INFO too fewer cpu cores: 4, stop configuring cpu affinity
  systemd 1 - -  Finished Edge Datapath KNI thread affinity service.```

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware NSX 

Cause

To make sure that certain threads have the proper affinity on larger virtual machines and bare metal edges, a script that runs once every minute, which results in the log entries being generated.

Resolution

This is a known behaviour of VMware NSX, there is no functional impact.
