Server 2025 Disconnected or Out of Date 8.10.0 Agents with App Control Server 8.10.4 or Lower

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading agents to Windows Agent 8.10.0 on a Windows Server 2025 system, agents exhibit the following symptoms:

• Agents stay disconnected in the console, but "Dascli status" shows them connected
• Agents stay persistently in Out of Date status without any CL changes
• Agents cannot be moved to a different policy

Environment

• Windows Server 2025
• App Control Windows 8.10.0
• App Control Server 8.10.4 or lower

Cause

App Control Server 8.10.4 and lower versions do not fully support Windows Server 2025 systems

Resolution

Upgrade the App Control Server to version 8.11 to resolve the issue

Additional Information

• If, after upgrading to server 8.11, the agents stay disconnected, follow the steps in this KB.
