Issue/Introduction

When the ‘Totals’ View Options are set to ‘Sum of Periods’ and the user sets the Unit of Measure (UOM) to ‘%Availability’, the ‘Roles’ and ‘Teams’ are including rows that do not match the filter criteria used for the staffing work effort TSV per-period metric fields. Be sure to check the other work effort TSV fields in Staffing as well for this use case. The use cases are for Labor resource type as the non-labor types do not use the work effort setting. ALL Staff Types (Resources, Roles or Teams) work as expected for filtering on these work effort fields when using ‘Grand Totals’ View Option and ‘% Availability’ UOM setting.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Set your own general settings for Unit of Measure to ‘% Availability’
  2. Go to any Staff Grid (I used the Staffing Workspace Staff Grid)
  3. Add any work effort TSV field such as Allocation, Hard Allocation, ETC, Actuals, Total Usage, Availability or Remaining Availability to the layout
  4. Set the View Options for Totals to use ‘Sum of Periods
  5. Filter for a small set of investments that has Labor Resources, Roles and Teams with different amounts of Allocation ranging below 100%, at 100%, and over 100%.
  6. Filter for the work effort TSV Allocation field > 100 and Staff Type = Resource
    1. WORKING: Resource - ‘Sum of Periods’ - only rows over 100 are shown.
  7. Filter for the work effort TSV Allocation field > 100 and Staff Type = Role
    1. NOT EXPECTED: Role - ‘Sum of Periods’ - includes rows that are at 100 and over 100.
  8. Filter for the work effort TSV Allocation field > 100 and Staff Type = Team
    1. NOT EXPECTED: Team - ‘Sum of Periods’ - includes ALL rows - rows with values under, at 100 and over 100 are shown; filtering is not working at all for this criteria.

Expected Results: To get only rows matching the filtering criteria when the ‘Totals’ View Options are set to ‘Sum of Periods.

Actual Results: The ‘Role’ or ‘Team’ rows that do not match the filtering criteria are included in the results when the ‘Totals’ View Options are set to ‘Sum of Periods.
