Issue/Introduction

Local users getting an Authentication Error message when logging in. SAML and LDAP users get the same error message

Log file /opt/vmware/vcloud-director/logs/vcloud-container-debug.log shows:

Resolution

Check for a rights bundle being published to the tenant:

  1. Choose the parent organization (Provider by default)
  2. Choose Administration
  3. Click the Rights Bundle option
  4. Click the radio option next to the rights bundle that tenant is supposed to have
  5. Choose the Publish option above
  6. Ensure Publish to All Tenants or the individual tenant is selected
  7. Click Save
