How to unregister email subscription from old usage meter.

Issue/Introduction

• The ask is to release email subscription from old usage meter because the status of the usage meter is changed  from old partner to new partner and the usage mater is not used anymore.
• Registration of Usage Meter fails with error "The registration of the Usage Meter in the Cloud Services Portal fails with the following error:
  "Failed to register this agent. Could not register this agent, please try again. If the issue persists, please report it. Agent with ID #####.######.##### already exists."

VMware Usage Meter.

Resolution

When a Usage Meter is registered to a cloud organization that has been deactivated, there is no specific un-registration process. The current recommended approach is to Deploy Usage Meter  and power off the legacy Usage Meter.
