Symantec DLP Enforce Connector service is running, but Symantec DLP Detector stops after upgrade DLP Detector to 16.1

Issue/Introduction

Detector upgraded/migrated successfully to DLP version 16.1 and we can see new detector version in Enforce server - Servers and Detectors Overview page but detector is in unknown state and Symantec DLP Detector service stops after 5 attempts of detection start.

Cause

Server's hardware before upgrade was way below hardware minimum requirements (1 vCPU) and we can see in Detector log:

WARNING: Argument number mismatch for key DETECTION.13, returned message: Intentionally restarting this process, as STARTING is taking too long processing a message in ALL_STOPPED.

INFO: UDS status changed from STARTING to ALL_STOPPED,

SEVERE: UDS has failed to start.

Resolution

Once hardware specification of the detector increased to minimum required - 4 vCPU, we can have detector fully started and working with RUNNING status.
