Problem upgrading Aria Operations/ VROPS

Issue/Introduction

  • After running the Aria Operations assessment tool shows the following warning:

ALERT_DEFINITION: ['FSDB  file corruption detected.','Disk space on node is low', 'Error synchronizing user information with AD/LDAP', 'FSDB file corruption detected.', 'Fsdb is running critically low on disk space']

 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

Aria Operations nodes are running out of disk.

Resolution

  1. Take Aria Ops offline via the admin interface.
  2. When all the nodes show offline, take snapshots without memory.
  3. Add disk following steps from the documentation below: Adding additional storage to a node in Aria Operations
  4. When you are done adding the disk, repeat steps 1,2
  5. Apply upgrade.
