You see a discrepancy in the Cisco unit rack in Aria Operations . You validated from the Cisco Manager and found it has a different name in service profile and user label. Due to this, some incidents to a 3rd party ticketing system are getting triggered with the wrong rack names or may cause other confusion. In Aria Operations inventory, the Cisco UCS rack unit metrics for Properties > General > Service Profile and User Label show the correct name.
Example:
Aria Operations 8.18.2
Cisco UCS Management Pack 6.2.2
The rack name was captured by the management pack from an initial collection. The User Label was then later changed in the Cisco environment, but the Cisco USC adapter does not update the name after object creation in the Aria Operations database.
This is a known issue in Aria Operations 8.x and Cisco UCS Management Pack 6.2.2 which will be fixed in a future release of the products.
Temporary Workaround:
If you manually delete the Cisco UCS rack unit object from the Aria Operations inventory page, the proper name will get collected on the next collection cycle.
