Under "Available Updates" on domain, ESXi upgrade bundle keeps showing post the upgrade

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

1. Latest upgrade attempt shows as failed in "Update history" tab on the domain

2. One or few ESXi hosts still shows on old versions in SDDC manager

3. In "Available Updates", ESXi upgrade bundle keeps showing. For eg. "Available Updates" show bundle X while all ESXi hosts are already updated to X.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 5.x

Cause

This happens as a result of failed upgrade attempts on ESXi host(s) previously

Resolution

Steps:

1. Please check that the host(s) are updated on the vCenter and no errors/issues are observed.

2. Once done, you can run --sync option in Async patch tool to sync the versions from vCenter inventory. 

3. If "Available Updates" still keeps showing the ESXi update bundle, restart SDDC manager services using command - /opt/vmware/vcf/operationsmanager/scripts/cli/sddcmanager_restart_services.sh
