Teams OAuth getting error when clicking the Validate button

Issue/Introduction

You receive the error code 400 "Unable to verify app details", when clicking the Validate button.

Cause

The Thumbprint obtained from the custom OAuth application in Microsoft Azure App registration is not accepted by the CloudSOC configuration. 

Resolution

Is it possible that the CloudSOC administrator is not tasked to generate the private key, the certificate based on that private key, or the custom OAuth application in Entra. In this case, please ensure you obtain the binary thumbprint from the .crt certificate as mentioned in step #2 of the techdoc Microsoft Teams Content Inspection.
