Spectrum Alarm Notifier is not sending emails on RedHat 9.x

The following message is seen in the Notifier.OUT file:

/opt/CA/Spectrum/Notifier/SetScript: line 320: mail: command not found

Cause

• mail command is deprecated on RHEL9.x

Resolution

1. Install s-nail if not installed (yum install s-nail)
2. Replace mail utility with s-nail in the SetScript, ClearScript and UpdateScript files
