Environment

VMware Live Site Recovery 9.x

Cause

The problem arises when the Tintri Replication path is not set up in the reverse direction, specifically from the Recovery Site to the Protected Site. During the Reprotect process, the Tintri operating system will try to establish a replication path in the reverse direction, utilizing the configuration that exists between the Protected Site and the Recovery Site. Should this attempt fail for any reason, the Reprotect operation will also fail.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, it is necessary to manually configure the Replication path and subsequently execute the Reprotect Workflow again.

We recommend you to log a case with Tintri Support for assistance, if you aren't confident about doing it yourself.
