Unable to deploy additional manager nodes - Installation failed

Issue/Introduction

When trying to deploy additional manager nodes when the VIP is set, the installation fails with this message:

Installation Failed: Reason - The cluster node VM failed to register itself with the MP within the alotted wait time. 

In /var/log/syslog, you see messages similar to this:

2025-03-24T17:34:26.751Z #####-##### NSX 2885 - [nsx@6876 comp="nsx-manager" errorCode="CBM134" level="ERROR" subcomp="cbm"] [CBM134] This node is not in the same subnet of this cluster. When using VIP, all nodes in the cluster and the VIP have to be in the same subnet.

Environment

Cause

VIP IP was set before additional manager nodes were deployed

Resolution

Remove VIP IP and then redeploy your additional node(s)
