What ports are used by CA Client Automation?
Client Automation - All Versions
The following ports are used by CA Client Automation components.
CAM – 4104 (UDP), 4105 (TCP) for Message based traffic
Port Multiplexer – 4728 (TCP) for Stream (bulk) based traffic and DTS File Transfer
CA Connection Broker Service (SSA) – 7163 (TCP) for all outbound connections
LDAP Directory Access – 389 (TCP)
LDAP over SSL Directory Access – 636 (TCP)
Reporter – 1433 (TCP) to access the MDB
Infrastructure Deployment Wizard
Infrastructure Deployment wizard also needs port 7 (TCP), port 135 (TCP) and file sharing enabled port 445 (TCP & UDP). Once the agents are installed, ports 135 and 445 can be closed.
For deployment on UNIX based systems port 20 (TCP), 21 (TCP), 22 (TCP) and 23 (TCP) need to be opened for FTP, SSH or Telnet based file transfer of primer package depending on the protocol you use.
Agent using Internal-NOS Download method to access the Library
File sharing port 445 (TCP) needs to be opened for the agent to access the SDLIBRARY on the server.
