Issue/Introduction

The Siteminder AdminUI is built on the IAM Framework.  The IAM Framework ships with some default PHP.  Siteminder Access Gateway does not use this PHP.  

It is harmless, however some organizations may have policies requiring that PHP either be removed or updated to a certain version.

VERSION: Applicable to all the supported releases.

Resolution

PHP REMOVAL ON THE ADMINUI:

  1. Stop the Admin UI server.

  2. Delete the folder examples under:

    <adminui-install-dir>\standalone\deployments\iam_siteminder.ear\user_console.war\ui\ext-js

  3. Start the Admin UI Server
