Issue/Introduction

The Siteminder AdminUI is built on the IAM Framework.  The IAM Framework ships with some default PHP.  This PHP is not used by Siteminder Access Gateway.  It is harmless, however your organization may have policies requiring that either PHP be removed, or that PHP must be above a certain version.

Resolution

PHP REMOVAL ON THE ADMINUI

  1. Stop the Admin UI server
  2. Delete the folder examples under:

    <adminui-install-dir>\standalone\deployments\iam_siteminder.ear\user_console.war\ui\ext-js

  3. Start the Admin UI Server
