Cost discrepancy for Lambda and CloudWatch services between channel customer and partner level

Issue/Introduction

For Partner Generated Billing (PGB) Consolidated or Standalone configurations, there may be differences for Lambda and CloudWatch services due to tiered pricing discounts.  In this case, it is expected that the channel and partner pricing does not match.

Resolution

AWS applies tiered pricing discounts at the billing account level, but the billing account may have multiple channel customers associated with it. During PGB, the tiered pricing discounts are applied amongst all the channel customers. Therefore, the tiered pricing discounts may vary between the Partner level and the channel customer.
