HCIBench URL not accessible

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• HCIBench UI not accessible using the URL https://<HCI Bench IP>:8443

• HCIBench VM deployment and configuration completes without errors.

Environment

VMware vSAN 7.0.x
VMware vSAN 8.0.x

 

Cause

Port 8443 is blocked between the Jump host and the HCIBench IP address due to network restriction or firewall rules blocking the port.

Since the HCIBench UI runs on port 8443, any network restriction or firewall rule blocking this port will prevent access.

Resolution

Please engage your Network & Security team to open the port 8443 between the Jump host and the HCIBench IP address.
