Cannot delete a Service in DX OI

Issue/Introduction

When entering and trying to delete, the delete option is gray:

 

Environment

DX 24.2 HF06 On premise

Cause

This unexpected condition is the result of deleting a parent Services before the SubServices, in this example, 4 edges were still linked to the parent service preventing the service deletion.

Resolution

You can identify the edges that prevent the Service deletion by following the steps below:"

1- Click Storage groups (affected)

2- Browser Debug tools
3- Click in Response
4- Search for "Hier"
5- Any object is an edge that is preventing the Services from being deleted.

 

Found 4 edges that is still linked to this Service Groups, that's why this has not been deleted.

 

We could enable the delete option by running a query over the API, which unlocks the Services from the Edges.
