Recommendations for setting the max degree of parallelism (MAXDOP) in SQL Server for use with DCS 6.10

DCS 6.10

Cause

SQL performance can be impacted if the configuration is not setup for optimal parallel processing.

Resolution

MaxDOP should be set to 1 as the queries themselves will change the value if needed
