Issue/Introduction

What is the resource usage (CPU, Memory, disk) by openshift probe?

Environment

Any supported UIM version 

probe: openshift

 

Resolution

This is dependent on the target environment (nodes, pods, etc.).

Based on our lab environment following are the resource usages:

CPU: 0.04 to 0.06 pct

Memory: Default heap settings: -Xms32m -Xmx512m 
Needs tuning as per monitoring load. Recommended heap settings: -Xms512m -Xmx2048m

Disk: Installation size: ~70 MB
Operational disk usage depends on configurations like logsize, etc. 
On an average: ~200 to 500 MB
