EDM / AD Indexing schedules fails on DLP enforce console

Issue/Introduction

EDM / AD Indexing schedules fails, local host logs show message "Creating Index Version" with no further information.

Tomcat local host logs show below error.

Found an indexing job for protected profile "XYZ-Profile" version 110 in a running state on startup, converting to error state.

However, logs don't show any other errors related to EDM / AD indexing schedule.

Environment

Enforce on RHEL 8 and 9.

Does not apply to enforce on Windows platform

DLP version 16.0 RU2

Cause

MIP SDK library causes hang to EDM / AD Indexing.

Resolution

Issue is fixed on version 16.1 MP1

Workaround is to remove MIP sync from Enforce > System > Settings > Data Classification
