Issue/Introduction

The below error occurs when we try to set the Q&A via user profile. Why is it throwing an error where question mark can't be used in a question?

 

Resolution

The question mark is a special character not allowed in the security questions. This is a fairly common industry use case with security questions.

Rather than specify fully formed questions like these, for example,

What is your mother's maiden name?

What is your favorite color?

The practice encourages simplified 'questions' like these,

Mother's maiden name

Favorite color
