Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to CICS TS 6.1 from TS 5.5 Hostbridge HB.js programs HBR$INIT and HBIPINIT abend during PLT processing with code AEXZ.

IBM module DFHDHTM also abends with the following message. 

DFHDH0001 CICSAPPL An abend (code ---/AKES) has occurred at offset X'1F78' in module DFHDHTM.

Cause

IBM parameter com.ibm.cics.sm.iep=true  cause the abend.

Resolution

Setting IBM parameter  com.ibm.cics.sm.iep=false   resolved the abend.
