Services fail to start, and the Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager web client does not load

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to access the Lifecycle Manager UI, just see error message "Waiting for services to start"

 

Environment

Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.18.1

Cause

Running the command "vrlcm-cli --health-status"
 -postgres shows running but the vrslcm and blackstone services are not running

A reboot or service restart never gets updated and nothing is logged.

Resolution

SSH to the Lifecycle Manager appliance

cd to the the location /var/lib/vrlcm

confirm if the vmlcm-service-<version>.jar exists.

If this file does not exist copy the jar over from a functioning system where the version matches.
