Missing EZTPX01 module on a non-mainframe platform

Issue/Introduction

Question: 

Where is the EZTPX01 module provided on a non-platform environment?  It is not found in the /opt/CA/ directory.

 

Environment:  

CA Easytrieve for Linux, Unix, or Windows

 

Answer: 

There is no equivalent for the EZTPX01 utility in a non-mainframe environment.  You will have to change your programs to use PROGRAM USING and pass the parameters that way.  EZTPX01 is only used with JCL, which is only applicable to the mainframe.
