Issue/Introduction

During the process of adding items to a group using the Add Item picker, the NetOps Portal 24.3.7 version may incorrectly display results from a different item type than the one selected. 

Example Behaviour:

• Selecting Interfaces in the item type filter results in a list of Devices being displayed.

• The picker does not consistently honor the selected item type.

• Users are unable to locate the intended items due to the mismatch.

DX NetOps 24.3.7 version

Cause

This issue has been identified as a defect in the item picker logic, where the selected item type is not properly

applied to the search or display results.

Resolution

We understand how this can impact your workflow .Our engineering team is actively working on a fix, which is planned to be included in the upcoming NetOps 24.3.8 release.

In the meantime, users are encouraged to double-check the displayed items before adding them to a group, or use manual methods for adding items where feasible.
