Maintenance schedules not ending in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

  • Placing objects into maintenance via Inventory Management works, however selecting a time in minutes to end the maintenance has stopped working, and objects stay in maintenance until is manually removed.
  • Aria Operations will show the following exception in the Analytics logs: 

com.integrien.alive.controller.maintenance.DistributedTaskMaintenanceScheduler.getAllManualAndScheduledMaintenanceResourcesFromDB- Could not retrieve in maintenance resources data from DB.

  • The ESXi host shows no details of Model , Version , power management , CPU , Memory. 
  • When the ESXi host is selected shows as maintenance window is active 

 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Resolution

This issue will be resolved in future Aria Operations releases

Workaround:

1. Log in to Aria Operations as admin 

2. From the left hand panel, Click on Operations > Configurations > Inventory Management. 

3. On the right side of the panel filter with the affected host FQDN 

4. Click on remove maintenance
