When users deploy a VM in Cloud Director from a vApp Template, by default there is no sorting or filtering when selecting a network

Issue/Introduction

• When deploying a VM in Cloud Director from Content hub and in the wizard when you choose network:
  • A user cannot filter that list.
  • The list is not sorted by default.
• When deploying a VM in Cloud Director via Applications > New > Add vApp from Catalog, in the wizard when you choose network:
  • A user cannot filter that list.
  • The list is not sorted by default.

Environment

• VMware Cloud Director 10.6.0.1
• VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1

Cause

This issue is caused due to a limitation in design of the UI Wizard when selecting the vApp Network.

Resolution

Engineering have acknowledged this and are evaluating for inclusion in an upcoming patch of Cloud Director.
