Issue/Introduction

If a customer is installing/upgrading to Harvest 14.5.01 from Harvest 14.5 on RHEL 9.x, do we need to implement the patch created for RHEL 9 and Harvest version 14.5?

Environment

Harvest Software Change Manager v14.5.01 with Red Hat Linux 9.x

Resolution

When upgrading to 14.5.01 patch,

• Login to the Broadcom Support Website.
  
  
• Download the installation ISO image for SCM v14.5.0 from the download center and port the Linux install files contained here to the server where the installation will take place.
  
  
• Download the Red Hat hot fix (#99111866). The INSTALL.SH file from the hotfix will replace the INSTALL.SH included in the pec474_64.tar from the 14.5.0 installation files.
  
  
• With this amendment to the original 14.5.0 installation files, complete the Harvest v14.5.0 server installation.
  
  
• Download the Linux64.zip file from the CA HARVEST SCM CUMULATIVE PATCH V14.5.01 download page and use this package to complete the appllication of the 14.5.01 patch.
