Clarification on system Generated Transport Zones created after upgrade and install of NSX 4.2+

Issue/Introduction

Before NSX 4.2, there were 2 installation modes provided:

• Security-only
• Networking and Security

NSX 4.2+ now supports a single installation mode where the previous 2 installation modes are supported on a single DVPG.

• This will have system generated Transport Zones with the user created information appended to the end of the name. For Example

• vlan-tz.VMyTZ-NET

• Wil also appear as:

• vlan-tz.security.########-####-####-############VMyTZ-NET
