When trying to export the SRM configuration, you receive the following error:
'Unable to generate file: moRef'
Site Recovery Manager 8.8 and above
Reviewing the SRM configuration, the Storage Replication Adapters were not populated.
When exporting the SRM configuration, the Storage Replication Adapter information is captured and included in the export xml file.
Since the SRA information was missing from the SRM UI (due to SRA logs being full), we were seeing the 'Unable to generate file: moRef' error.
To resolve this issue, please follow the steps in the KB article below to clean up the SRA logs on both SRM appliances:
