Issue/Introduction

We are trying to understand how long a given agent version is supported. E.g. will 25.4.1 agent version has support for 2 or 3 years? Is there is a standard for this?

Resolution

 Generally, DX monitoring agents has a lifecycle of 2 years, ensuring reliability and consistent updates during this period. However, UMA (Universal Monitoring Agent) has a shorter lifespan of 1 year due to the unique nature of the target technologies that it supports.

We realize that transitions can bring challenges, and in exceptional circumstances, we strive to accommodate extended support as needed or required, to minimize disruptions. Our goal is always to support you in maintaining a stable and efficient monitoring experience.
