System Alert "Out of Disk Warning" - Disk Space Usage has Reached 75%

Issue/Introduction

The System "Out of Disk Warning" alert triggered on /storage/core partition, and email notification was received with the following details:

"VMware Aria Operations for Logs Admin Alert: Disk Space Usage Has Rewached 75%"

In addition, the following details can also be seen from the content of the notification:

"96 percent of total VMware Aria Operations for Logs disk space was used."
"Current disk consumption rate: 0 B/day"

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs 8.x

Cause

Aria Operations for Logs certificate expired which may have triggered the alert.

Resolution

Install the new custom certificate via the KB Install a custom certificate in VMware Aria Operations for Logs 8.12 and Later

Additional Information

Note:  
/storage/core partition at 97% is by design.  Aria Operations for Logs will consume up to 97% of disk space on this partition.  Once this limit is reached, the VM will cycle through and overwrite the oldest historical logs.
