"No objects assessed" displayed for Compliance Benchmark

Issue/Introduction

When you try to run a compliance report, objects are not getting assessed. You have rules set up to check against ESXi hosts and VMs, and are seeing "No objects assessed" when reviewing the compliance page

Environment

VMware Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

The benchmark is not assigned to any objects via policy.

Resolution

1. From the left menu, click Operations > Compliance to access the compliance page.
2. Click the Edit button for the benchmark to be modified
3. In the Policies step, select the policies to activate compliance and click Finish.

Note: Verify that the Policy where the benchmark is activated is applied to the objects to be assessed. See the following documentation for more information: Assigning Policies
