VMware Live Cyber Recovery is failing to snapshot VMs in VMC on AWS VIR SDDC

Issue/Introduction

Protection Groups in VMware Live Cyber Recovery shows alerts stating "The last snapshot of protection group failed because it did not include any VMs."

Environment

VMware Live Cyber Recovery 7.26.x and older

Cause

This is caused due to a legacy connector is being used.

Resolution

To remediate the issue, please redeploy the connectors by following the below steps :

Step 1 :  Remove a Cyber Recovery connector from a Protected Site

Step 2 :  Download the Connector OVA from VMware Live Cyber Recovery UI

Step 3 :  Deploy the Cyber Recovery connector Using vCenter Server UI

Step 4 :  Configure the Cyber Recovery connector VM from VM Console
