Customer can't enable auto minor version upgrade for Redis 7 due to known issue with the upstream code and documented as such in our docs:
https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/vmware-tanzu/platform-services/tanzu-cloud-service-broker-for-aws/1-12/csb-aws/troubleshooting.html#redis-auto-minor-upgrade-version-7
This KB describes how to upgrade minor versions, for example, from 7.1 to 7.2 in this scenario.
You can do either below to workaround it:
If you change the existing plan to 7.2 (and then do an apply changes) nothing will happen until you run an `cf update-service` command for each service. Explicitly `cf update-service <MY_SERVICE> -c "{}"` - this will cause the service to be be refreshed with the plan parameters.
Alternatively you can create a new plan for 7.2 (and do an apply changes). Then you can intentionally switch the plan of a service by running `cf update-service <MY_SERVICE> -p <NEW_PLAN>`
The advantage of the second is more intentional than the first. In the first case - if you change the plan and someone runs update-service for a different reason (perhaps they wanted to set an unrelated parameter) then it will refresh the service with the configured plan update to 7.2. This might be a surprise to them.
