Issue/Introduction

The vRealize Operations Federation Management Pack (vROps Federation Management Pack) has reached its End of General Support (EOGS) on October 1, 2024. This Management Pack was specifically designed for Aria Operations Cloud instances, which are no longer available.

Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

The vRealize Operations Federation Management Pack was primarily used with Aria Operations Cloud instances. As Aria Operations Cloud instances are no longer available, customers must transition to an alternative solution for managing their operations across multiple instances.

Resolution

Customers should transition to the VMware Aria Operations Aggregator Management Pack, which is designed to offer similar functionality to the Federation Management Pack for on-premises instances.
