Issue/Introduction

Need help exporting all of their inventory data in DX 02 to a Power BI report and we are not sure which data source to use.

The issue with doing 9,999 entities at a time is that it doesn't include all 9,999 unless you continue scrolling all the way down to the last one so they're all showing at once...which will take quite a while.  Only what is currently showing on the screen will be exported, so I have to continue scrolling all the way down to the last entity for it to successfully export them that way.

Resolution

Currently there is no way to export more than 9,999 entities.  Best way is to filter out the data in Inventory.

Step 1: Select desired type by clicking on the item in Count by Type

Step 2: Filter by Attribute.  You can select a preset one or choose Others and enter your custom attribute.

Step 3: Enter Environment and Production as an example from Step 2 as Others was chosen.  Note your values may differ

Step 3: Continue to fine tune the filter to get below 10,000 so that you can export them.
