Issue/Introduction

Question:

CA Workload Automation ESP MVS: 11.4 SADGEN abending with a B37. How do I put in an override for a dynamic DD name built at run time for a temporary dataset?

 

Answer:

To change these defaults, specify PARM=SAD(p,s) where p is the number of primary cylinders, and s the number
of secondary cylinders.

For example:

/ESPPROC PROC PREFIX=SYSXR.CAESP.PFP
//IEFPROC EXEC PGM=CYBJS000,REGION=0M,TIME=1440,DYNAMNBR=200,PARM=SAD(75,20)

SAD(75,20) results in SPACE=(CYL,(75,20))
