Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Error appears for failed connection on Skyline heath as below:

         

Environment

VMware vSAN 7.x

VMware vSAN 8.x

Cause

If the ping test fails(MTU check or connectivity check), it means that there is an MTU misconfiguration somewhere in the vSAN network. The source of the misconfiguration will need to be traced. Please validate the VMkernel adapter configurations, virtual switches or the physical network switches configurations.
