When using the Autosys media and choose to install EEM only, CAPKI will be installed in directory C:\Program Files\CA\SC\CAPKI despite the fact that an alternative directory path for SharedComponents was given.
Windows
The EEM installer does not touch or try to install the CAPKI when it is already present on the box.
If not installed, it will be installed into C:\Program Files\CA\SC\CAPKI
The following are two alternatives that can be used to install the CAPKI in a custom location.
Option #1:
Install the CAPKI manually using the below command. This will make sure EEM will not install the CAPKI again:
C:\> "ISO_LOCATION\modules\CAPKI\setup.exe" install instdir="D:\AutoSys\SharedComponents" caller=WAAE verbose
The above command will ensure that CAPKI is installed in the D:\AutoSys\SharedComponents folder; EEM will utilize the existing CAPKI.
Option #2:
Select Client or SDK along with EEM installation; this will also ensure that the CAPKI is installed in the desired location, but you will receive AutoSys Client or AutoSys SDK along with EEM.
