[VMC on AWS] Unable to perform VMC Provisioning activities (Add Cluster, Add Host, Create SDDC)

Issue/Introduction

Performing any VMC Provisioning activities like "Add Cluster", "Add Host" or "Create SDDC" will throw the below error:-

• HTTP Error 500: - javax.servlet.ServletException: org.springframework.web.util.NestedServletException: Handler dispatch failed; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalAccessError: class com.vmware.vipclient.i18n.util.LocaleUtility (in unnamed module @0x31368b99) cannot access class sun.util.locale.ParseStatus (in module java.base) because module java.base does not export sun.util.locale to unnamed module @0x31368b99

VMware Cloud on AWS

Cause

Known issue where users will be unable to perform VMC Provisioning activities if the VMC Console Language is set to anything other than English.

Resolution

• Set the VMC Console Language preference to English and attempt the VMC Provisioning activities.
• Document for reference: Set the Language and Regional Format for the VMware Cloud Console
