Aria Automation deployments fails with error code "401 Unauthorized"

Issue/Introduction

• Deployments are failing with the 401 unauthorized error.
• The following error message is found within the /services-logs/prelude/provisioning-service-app/file-logs/provisioning-service-app.log:

Environment

VMware Aria Automation 8.x

Cause

Aria Automation cannot connect to the vCenter / NSX Cloud Account due to incorrect credentials.

Resolution

Update the right credentials for both vCenter and NSX Cloud Account within Aria Automation.

Access Aria Automation Cloud accounts following the below path:

• Infrastructure>> Connections>> Cloud Accounts
• Re-enter the right credentials for both vCenter as well as NSX Cloud accounts.
• Click Validate to confirm the credentials
